Dance Performances
The Nutcracker
HCA ballet students perform a pre-professional quality Nutcracker each December at Ohio Star Theater. All Creative Movement and Ballet students are encouraged to participate!
Elite Tumblers
HCA tumblers have the opportunity to join a performance group after they reach a certain level of skill. They perform at local high school basketball games, in the Spring dance recital, and at other events.
Spring Recital
Each Spring our dancers have the opportunity to perform in a dance recital. We try to make this performance a more professional experience for them. We will often turn familiar stories into children's ballets, such as "Peter Pan" and the "Princess and the Pea". Our performances help children to gain confidence while the audience is entertained.
Other Performance Opportunities
We like to give our students as many performance opportunities as possible and we try to spread our love for dance to a wide range of audiences. Our dancers have performed at the Walnut Hills Retirement Home, Majora Lane Retirement Home, the Broadway Showcase at Hiland High School, the Holmes County Fair, the annual Share-a-Christmas performance, the Holmes County Chamber of Commerce Christmas luncheon, churches throughout Holmes County, festivals, and parades.
