Class will meet from 6-7 p.m. on 2-19 and from 6-7:30 on the rest of the dates.

This class for beginning or intermediate quilters will be tailored to individual interests and will cover using a simple pattern, hand and machine stitching and creating a small finished quilt such as a table runner or lap quilt.  Students will be responsible for providing their own supplies, a list of needed materials will be discussed in the first class, but please bring sewing scissors to your first class.

Learn the ins and outs of digital art using Procreate on iPad Pro.  Students will use different tools and layers and work with the color wheel to make beautiful, reproducible artwork.

Open Studio:
Oil Painting

Open Studio for Oil Painting is held on Saturday mornings at the arts center from 10 AM - 12 PM, and all artists and aspiring artists are welcome to join us.  Artists will
need to bring their own oil painting supplies.  These are not lessons, but a time for us to inspire each other and share tips we have gleaned with one another.

 
We will collect $5 per session to cover the use of the studio. Feel free to invite friends to join us.  We plan to do this every Saturday, so come as often as you find convenient.

Poetry Spotlight for Writers

Wednesdays, 4-5 p.m.

With Jennifer McCluggage 

$5 studio fee

All writers and aspiring poets are welcome to join us.  They are to bring their own writings or poems of others who inspire them.  We will turn the metaphorical spotlight every five minutes from attendee to attendee.  These are not lessons, but a time for us to inspire each other and share tips we have gleaned with one another.  We will collect $5 per session to cover the use of the studio, we plan to do this every Wednesday, so come as often as you find convenient.  No need to register.

Cartoon Drawing Workshops for Beginners

Learn the tricks of the cartooning trade with local artist, Dylan Olsen.  Each class will explore different characters.  Come for one class or come for all.
