The Prince of Egypt

Summer Musical

The Prince of Egypt tells the powerful story of two brothers, Moses and Ramses, who are raised together in Egypt but find themselves on opposite sides of destiny. When Moses discovers his true identity as a Hebrew, he must choose between the life he has always known and his calling to lead his people to freedom. The musical explores themes of faith, family, and courage through emotional storytelling and inspiring music.

Performances
We will be performing June 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th.  We will for sure perform 5 shows.

Singers, Dancers and Actors!  Young and Adult!!
Everyone will fit into a place in this musical!

 

VIRTUAL AUDITION

Virtual Auditions must be submitted by May 8th.  There will be no exceptions.

1. Prepare & Record Your Performance
   -Select a 16-32 bar song, a 30-60 second monologue, and (if required) a dance
combination.
   -Record in a quiet space with good lighting and clear audio.
   -Use a backing track or live accompaniment (no a cappella).
   -Ensure proper framing (medium close-up for singing/acting, full-body for dance).
2. Check Technical Requirements

   -Use a laptop or webcam for better video and audio quality.
   -Ensure a stable internet connection for live auditions.
   -Test your microphone, camera, and lighting before recording.
   -Choose a neutral background to keep the focus on you.
3. Name & Submit Files Correctly
   -Save files as “FirstName_LastName_Audition.mp4”.
   -Upload via Google Drive, Dropbox, or email by the deadline.
   -Double-check that all links are accessible before submission.
4. Attend Live Callbacks (if required)
5. Follow Up & Stay Professional
   -Wait for casting decisions patiently without excessive follow-ups.
By following these steps, you’ll be well-prepared to showcase your talent and make a strong
impression in a virtual audition. Break a leg!

IN-PERSON AUDITION

In Person Auditions are May 4th, 5th and 6th and are set between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM in 15 min slots.

1. Vocal Performance
   -Prepare a 16-32 bar song that highlights your vocal ability.
   -Bring accompaniment and a Bluetooth speaker will be available.
   -Warm up beforehand to ensure your best performance.
2. Acting Performance
   -Have a 30-60 second monologue prepared.
   -Be ready for cold readings from the script if requested.
   -Understand your character’s tone, backstory, and objectives.
3. Dance/Movement
   -Wear comfortable attire that allows free movement.
   -Be prepared to learn and perform choreography if required.
   -Show confidence and energy, even if you are not a trained dancer.
4. Professional Presentation
   -Present yourself with confidence, eye contact, and a positive attitude.
   -Please bring a photo of yourself to the audition
5. Logistics & Preparedness
   -Arrive early and check in smoothly.
   -Follow instructions carefully and be open to redirections.
   -Stay flexible for callbacks, extra readings, or last-minute changes.
By preparing these elements, you’ll make a strong, confident impression in your in-person
audition. Break a leg!
