inspiration of famous artists or art movements. Students are encouraged to bring a sketchbook
to class each week, all other materials are included.

Cartooning

Learn the tricks of the cartooning trade with local artist, Dylan Olsen.  Each class will explore different characters, come for one, or sign up for all. For kids and teens.

$13 per class.  Includes supplies.

After School Art

Clay Face Pot
for Kids

Have fun with clay hand-building while creating a cool hand-build clay face pot with E. Holmes art teacher, Mary Gilmore.


Teen After School Program

Holmes Center for the Arts offers a FREE after school program for teens on Thursdays after school until 6 PM.  NextGen ministries leads the first part of the program with snacks, a devotional, homework help, and games.  From 5 - 6 PM, students participate in an arts activity led by professional artists.  Some of the classes include painting, stained glass, woodworking, and more.  No need to register, but please contact us at info@holmescenterforthearts.org to let us know you are coming.  If you need transportation, we can help you with that too!

Digital Art

Learn the ins and outs of digital art using Procreate on IPad Pro.  Students will use different tools and layers and work with the color wheel to make beautiful, reproducible artwork.   IPads are provided.

Art for Teens and Adults

Learn different styles of art including painting, drawing, and printmaking in an encouraging environment (plus some art history). Make friends! Build community.

No experience necessary

Every Wednesday starting in September
