Ballet
HCA's ballet program is quickly becoming one of the top in the region for students ages 5 - 18. HCA provides quality dance training with an emphasis on technique, strength, and artistry. HCA alumni have gone on to dance with the University of Cincinnati, Ballet 5:8, North Pointe Ballet, Ohio Northern University, Kent State University, and Light of the World Ballet. Students have been accepted into summer programs at Cincinnati Ballet, Ballet Magnificat!, Ballet 5:8, Ballet Met, University of Utah, Charleston Ballet, and ArtEmotion.
Student Division Ballet
Ballet 1
5-6 year-olds (must have turned 5 by Sept. 1)
Placement is by age, no dance experience is necessary.
Start Date: Week of January 13th
4:15 - 5:00 PM Tuesdays OR
6:15 - 7:00 PM Thursdays
Ballet 2
7-8 year-olds
Placement is by age, no dance experience is necessary.
Start Date: Week of January 13th

Ballet 3
8-9 year-olds
Placement by teacher. Must have taken one year of ballet 3 to move to 3B.
Start Date: January 13th
4:00 - 5:00 PM Tuesdays 3B
6:00 - 7:00 PM Wednesdays 3A
Pre-Professional Ballet Division
Ballet 4
Intermediate level ballet. Placement is by teacher.
Two classes per week are required.

4:15 - 5:30 PM Thursdays
**Rehearsals for Giselle will be added throughout the semester as needed.
Ballet 5
Intermediate/Advanced-level ballet. Placement is by teacher.
Two technique classes plus pointe or pre-pointe (for girls) per week are required.
