Holmes Center for the Arts is now offering an intro/beginner-level course in Spanish. This class is a great way to prepare for a mission trip or vacation or just to be able to communicate with your neighbors. Colette will also be offering private tutoring lessons on Wednesday evenings for anyone who needs some one on one help. With a rich background in the Spanish language in a teaching role, Colette is an expert at the work she does.

Colette lives on a small farm in Tuscarawas County, she has a bachelor's degree in Political Science and Italian, with a minor in Spanish from Kent State University (class of 93’). She has worked as a language tutor at Kent State University for both Italian and Spanish, has taught Italian as a substitute teacher at Kent State, and has worked as a substitute teacher in Holmes County elementary public schools. She is a certified medical biller and coder and has participated for many years in the Medical Billing and Coding Externship program to mentor students from the Knox County Career Center. She also has lots of animals on her farm that keep her busy when she’s not working.
